"Bruno Prats' first vintage at Cos. A mass of notes, all good, though tannin very much in evidence; several in the 1990s, most detailed at a Cos Master Class at Christie's: lovely rich colour; serenely mature bouquet, 'candlewax'; despite its self-evident tannin, gentle, lovely, crisp and no sign of decline. Most recently, an imperial, rich, fairly complex, nice weight, drinking well and 'as good as it will ever be'. Last tasted at a Saintsbury Club dinner, Oct 2000 ****" MB, Vintage Wine
