"Still sweet and plenty of grip in 1986. Next at Corney & Barrow in 1995: very fragrant, elegant, with the slightly fishy Pinot scent I had noted in 1972; very sweet, gloriously rich flavour which expanded in the mouth and left an unmatchably fragrant aftertaste. Most recently: full and forthcoming, sweet, old-Pinot root-like bouquet; ripe and rich, tangy, considerable power and greath length.
