A SET OF GEM-SET JEWELRY, BY OSCAR HEYMAN & BROTHERS
Oscar Heyman & Brothers has long been associated with jewels featuring multi-colored sapphires. These pastel-hued gemstones, in yellow, blue and pink, were first incorporated into the firms creations during the 1930's. The Heyman family was the first to import these elegant stones from Ceylon into the United States, in addition to other gems such as star sapphires, star rubies and cat's-eye chrysoberyls. Their introduction was an immediate success and remains a principal trademark of the firm's oeuvre. VARIOUS PROPERTIES
