A carved and pierced ivory tusk vase and cover, late 19th Century
with dragon finial, deeply carved with Ebisu on a carp riding a wave and other immortals and attendants standing on rockwork, sealmark to cover and signature tablet to the tusk vase - 10 7/8in. (27.6cm.) high, gilt lacquered wooden stand decorated with peacocks and foliate sprays.
