decorated in kirikane and kimpun gold and silver lacquer on a black fundame ground with pavillions, pagodas and bridges in a tree-strewn mountainous river landscape, all within a carved cinnabar lacquer frame carved with scrolling lotus, gilt metal mounts -- 38 x 31¾in. (96.6 x 80.7cm.)
