TURKEY, PERIOD OF SULTAN ABDULHAMID II, 1876-1909 AD
Comprising two boards and a pentagonal flap, red morocco binding, the front with large gold tooled tughra of Sultan Abdulhamid II, within cusped raised cartouche, the corners with green roundels issuing neo-classical style palmettes, all tooled, within tooled border with interlace corners, the reverse with similar border, the centre with an Ottoman military trophy medallion, the binding European-style without flap and with panelled spine, excellent condition
