The couplet relates to this drawing- it speaks of a foreigner holding a wine cup.

An almost identical tinted drawing of a European youth is in the India Office Library (Johnson album 16, no.7), published in Toby Falk and Mildred Archer, Indian Miniatures in the India Office Library, London, Delhi and Karachi, 1981, pl.464, p.523.
