With frosted gilt three-quarter plate lever movement, some jewels carried in screwed gold chatons, bi-metallic compensation balance, gold cuvette, white enamel dial with Roman numerals, subsidiary seconds, the case engraved with floral patterning heightened by translucent blue and green enamel, the front lid with aperture revealing the dial surrounded by diamond-set Roman numerals on a translucent green enamel ground over engine-turning within a ring of alternating rubies and diamonds, the reverse with a diamond, ruby and emerald-set monogram within a ring of alternating emeralds and diamonds, dial and movement signed, case and cuvette stamped for the maker AS and hallmarked for London, 1869
