Tasting note: Again, a superb wine, possibly the best ever Haut-Brion... Vanilla chocolate, tobacco, earthy, harmonious, honeycomb, touch of liquorice; silky texture, crisp fruit, luscious, perfect weight, great length. A gentle giant. Five stars. Last tasted December 2000. MB.
