(10.5cm.), the silvered dial signed Hamilton, Lancaster, P.A. U.S.A. N 1501 1941, Arabic hour numerals, subsidiary seconds and up-and-down ('state of wind') dials, blued steel hands, nickel plated frames with parallel line spotting signal as on the dial and numbered 2E 4345, Earnshaw escapement, Hamilton spring detent assembly with jewelled locking pallet, uncut stainless steel balance rim with Invar cross-arm, above it a 'Y' shaped locking unit generated with an allan key, helical balance spring -- 5in. (13cm.) high
