The first modelled as Frederick the Great, the second perhaps Duke Carl von Braunschweig, each rider wearing 18th century style dress, the first on a shaped rocky ground, the second on a shaped plinth base, the bases moulded with panels of corn, musicial instruments, triumphal regalia and the entwined monogram
