The dentil-moulded cornice with rosette-embossed swan's neck cresting above a blind-fret carved frieze and a pair of astragal glazed doors with rope-twist edges enclosing three adjustable shelves, the sloping fall opening to a fitted interior with fret-work decoration and an arrangement of pigeonholes, secret compartments and drawers around a central cupboard flanked by brass Corinthian capped pilasters, the base with two short and three long graduated drawers between quarter-column angles on moulded bracket feet, originally with a finial to cornice
