An early electro-magnet driven clock movement patent model
with central pivot-controlled iron core, sprung against single coil and push-pull ratchet cog on the top, driving vertical shaft linking to a differential gearing below, and terminating in opposing clock spindles for hours/minutes, mounted on brass and (later) painted aluminium skeleton body, with gold painted block base, stamped on the top 3329 and a small plague reading Perret's Brit Pat. No. 25218-1904 Swiss made and printed on the base on Dyno tape reading Electrical impulse slave dial drive, twin dial movement, by Colonel David Perret, Neuchatel Circa 1902-4; -6¼in. (16cm) high
