Nos 1 & 2, six Burndept style two-way switches and inputs in pairs, mounted on un-finished birds eye maple wood, framed in mahogany and sliding into panelled mahogany cabinet with hinged lid, above twin doors on small bracket feet, circa 1923 -26in. Lot Essay

This set would have used bright-emitter valves such as the R2 and although some of the components are Burndept style, a small mica condenser between the coupling and R.T.C. No.1 is stamped The Cresent Wireless Company, Radio Engineers, 47 & 49, High St. Bedford, which suggests a Claribut link. The un-finished maple wood base-board could be a later replacement and the coupling is twin-coil fixed (one disconnected), the third being the reaction control.
