the rectangular domed gilded cage with canted corners and side door, three birds, one perched with red, the second blue and the last with black and white feathered plumage, moving heads, beaks and tail feathers, taking turns to sing to 1-2-3 paused sequence bird song, on gilded gesso base, key-wind crank on the side, possibly by Bontems, French, circa 1900 -24in. (61cm) high
