A GROUP OF LURISTAN BRONZE FINIALS
EARLY 1ST MILLENNIUM B.C.
Comprising a heraldic animal finial with two confronting felines grasping a central shaft with long inserted pin, 9 in. (23 cm.) long; two similar with confronting ibex, 6½ in. (16.6 cm.) max.; another with three confronting ibex, 3½ in. (9 cm.) long; and two pin terminals, one in the form of a recumbent animal, the other of composite form with winged deer head, 3 in. (7.7 cm.) long max. (6)

From a private collection formed during the 1960s-1970s.
