Signs of the Blessings, poetry in praise of the Prophet Muhammad, Arabic manuscript, 89ff. with 14ll. of fine bold black maghribi within red ruled margins, vocalisation in red and blue, important words in red and blue, opening page with illumination in red, yellow and blue, subsequent headings in coloured thuluth, stylised full-page illustrations fo the grave of the Prophet, Abu Bakr and 'Umar, and the minbar at Medina, colophon at end of main text giving the name of the scribe, date and place, text of KA'B B. ZUHAYR AL-MUZANI: QASIDAT AL-BURDA added at the end in what appears to be the same hand, Ottoman style brown morocco binding with flap, fitted modern box -- Folio 13¼ x 9¼in. (33.5 x 25cm.)
