A Burmese gilt and red lacquered wood offering vessel, daung-baung-kalat

The red and gilt lacquered wooden tray stands on three claw-shaped feet, the outside is decorated with coloured mica inlaid scrolling flowers and the domed cover shows a ribbed lower section while the flat top is decorated with coloured glass beads set in concentring bands and supporting a tapering-shaped spire
