A Khmer, Banteay Srei style, bronze figure of a bodhisattva
late 10th century
Standing in samabhanga on a rectangular base, both principle hands in varadamudra, both others formerly holding an attribute, wearing vertical striated sampot secured by a belt, naked upper body with incised belly-button, his face with serene expression, ridged eyebrows above slit eyes, smiling lips, elongated earlobes and hairdress combed in a cylindrical chignon secured by a ribbon, green patina
