A SEVRES GILT-WHITE HOT MILK-JUG AND COVER (POT A LAIT ET SA COUVERCLE) AND CUP AND SAUCER (GOBELET 'LITRON' ET SA SOUCOUPE, 1ERE GRANDEUR)
Circa 1774, blue interlaced L's to the jug and saucer, the jug incised de, the saucer with date letter V for 1774 and gilder's mark possibly for Weydinger
Each gilt at the rim with variant bands of foliate scrolls and diaper pattern; together with a group of Sèvres gilt-white wares, the classic shapes with gilt dentil rims, comprising a sugar-bowl and cover (pot à sucre 'Bouret' et son couvercle), a mustard pot stand, gilder's mark for Vandé père, two cylindrical cups and saucers (gobelet 'Litron' et son soucoupe), a rounded cup and saucer (gobelet 'Calabre' et son couvercle),and a juice pot (pot à jus), cover lacking
3 in. (7.6 cm.) high, the cup; 6 in. (15.4 cm.) diameter, the saucer (14)
