From a model by Duplessis, the bombé tureen on foliate scroll feet, the lobed cover with artichoke finial, the stand with integral shell scroll handles

As indicated by the crowned factory mark, the present olio pot, cover and stand are made in hard paste porcelain. The gilder of the pot and cover, Henri-Martin Prévost, is recorded at the factory 1757-1797. That of the stand, Henri Vincent père, is recorded 1753-1806.
