One with pink interlaced L's enclosing date letter r for 1770 to the cup, incised am dd, the saucer unmarked; the other circa 1790, blue interlaced L's mark and painter's mark for Vincent Taillandier to the saucer, the cup incised J and ae, the saucer 6
The first gilt with brick pattern between blue bands, those on the cup gilt with entrelac, those on the saucer with vine, the two pieces therefore matched; the second with a looped flowering vine suspended between blue-line-and-gilt-dash bands (4)
