A late 18th-Century French miniature graphometer,
signed on the alidade Ecole [de] Châlons, the arc with silvered 1-180° scale, the alidade with twin sights, two silvered verniers and screw clamp, the underside with two further fixed sights and steel ball for mounting, in semi-cylindrical felt-lined mahogany case -- 6 x 5cm. (2 3/8 x 2in.)
