A well engineered and presented model of a single cylinder 'A' frame beam engine,
built to the design of Vulcan with cylinder approximately 5/8in bore x 2¼in. stroke, centrally mounted inward facing valve chest, main stop valve, 'lift-off' pierced eccentric rod, decorative parallel motion with barrelled radius and anchor links, the beam supported on pierced 'A' frames with rod driven feed pump and barrelled, fluted connecting rod with wedged and cottered big end, spoked flywheel and belt pulley. Further details include wooden engine bed with steps and riveted water tank under, the engine finished in black and polished brightwork and mounted on a black and white tiled base -- 35 x 41.2cm. (13¾ x 16¼in.)
