Abel Klinger te NURENBERG made up of twelve hand-coloured engraved gores and two polar calottes, with graduated equatorial, ecliptic and meridian of Fero, the Antarctic with some stretches of land shown, the continents outlined in green, yellow and orange and showing country names but no borders, cities, rivers and mountains (some light abrasion) with stamped brass meridian, hour ring (loose) and quadrant of altitude, the hand-coloured engraved octagonal horizon ring with Zodiac and calendar scales and wind directions, the ebonised wooden horizon raised on four quadrant supports to a turned mahogany pillar and concave square stained base with a small raised brass-cased compass and four bun feet -- 60cm.
