A Victorian mahogany domestic medicine cabinet,
of cupboard-type, the doors opening to reveal a felt-lined shelf galleried to house four large bottles, the lower area with two larger compartamentalised drawers and three smaller, all with ivory pulls, the interior of the doors felt-lined and galleried housing nine bottles each, the rear of the cabinet with a sliding door to felt-lined and galleried area to house five large bottles (missing), the exterior of the cabinet with inlaid lacquered-brass military handles and two eschutheons (one holed-up) -- 30.8 x 21.4 x 34.8cm. (12 1/8 x 8½ x 13¾in.) (bottles present are mixture of contemporaneous and replacements)
