unsigned, with a ruling pen, three pairs of dividers, two with detachable legs, pen attachment and another with a blunt foot, brass semi-circular protractor, unmarked wooden rule (end broken off) bone ink dish and a steel-cased compass with hand-coloured paper dial (needle missing) in a chamois-lined fitted case covered in red leather, with two brass hooks and eyes -- 20.6cm. (8¼in.) wide; and three pairs of [?]18th-Century brass and steel dividers, one with double point on one leg, another with a thread at the top of the points, the third with rose motif engraved on the hinge and fingerholds on the legs, this largest -- 24.4cm. (9 5/8in.) long; the smallest -- 13.7cm. (5 3/8in.) long
