with folding spring mechanism; four 19th-Century oblong-shaped short-handled lorgnettes with folding spring mechanism, in tortoiseshell (with crack), ivory, white metal and gilt brass with decoration in relief and neck chain; an early 19th-Century tortoiseshell lorgnette with pivot bridge and finger ring; a steel semi-lorgnettes with spring bridge and finger ring; a short-handled steel lorgnette reminscent of Nuremberg nose spectacles and with 'Klemmer' clips; a 19th-Century gilt quizzer; and a small ivory-handled magnifier in original case (11)
