signed on the pillar Cary LONDON, the tapering barrel threading into a short limb atop the rectangular-section pillar with rack and pinion-adjusted stage with sprung slide holder beneath and concave mirror, threading into a socket on the front edge of the base of the case, with a three-bead combining objective, live box and ring support, two ivory sliders, stage forceps, tweezers and an ivory-handled scalpel, in a fitted and plush-lined mahogany case with two brass hooks and nails -- 9.6cm. (3¾in.) wide
