a painted wooden dolls' house of five bays and three stories with elaborately painted tinplate balustrading to the balcony, central front door painted with the No.12, wood quoining and painted brickwork above the windows, opening at the front to reveal six rooms, landings and hall with paper 'mosaic' floor, later internal doors and removable stairs, furniture, chattels and inhabitants including Waltershausen - piano, sideboard, chairs, washstand, workstable, dressing table mirror and side cupboard; Evans and Cartwright range and fireplaces; a German tinplate bathing set; cherry wood expanding dining table; an early English varnished half-tester bed with chamber steps; a part set of early German unvarnished furniture with stained purple lines; a gilt metal embroidered fire screen; English bellows; bone chess set; soft metal lights and mirrors; all bisque and bisque headed dolls and a rare Waltershausen sofa upholstered in stamped velvet with carved bone scroll fronts --44½in.
