A rare wooden Tibetan dolls' house
of four bays and two storeys, the slides sloping towards the flat roof, balcony, interior, pillars, beams and tops of windows and doors gaily painted with flowers and leaves, opening at the back to reveal four rooms with exterior doors, original furnishings include furniture, people and animals --27½in. (70cm.) wide x 19in. (48cm.) high x 13½in. (34cm.) deep

Provenance
Made at the Norbulingka Institute, Dharamsala District, North India. The institute was set up by His Holiness, the Dalai Lama, to insure the survival of Tibetan culture in its artistic and literary forms.
