The head with convex axe-blade drawn up to a clipped point, central spike of flattened diamond section formed with a strongly reinforced stiff diamond point, two opposing rear flukes, the upper acutely curved and the two divided by a near-annular piercing, and with tapering octagonal socket extending to form a pair of long straps: on later octagonal staff
