The first circa 1620, the second circa 1600
The first with broad double-edged blade with full-length strong medial ridge and tapering to a short point, a pair of flat up-turned basal lugs, one struck with mark, crossed swords in a cartouche on one side, tubular socket, and side-straps: on later staff studded with nails; and the second with slender tapering hollow-ground spike with full-length medial ridge, a pair of single-edged lugs sharply up-turned at the base, and faceted socket with side-straps: on later staff.
