In the Art Nouveau taste, each of slender baluster form, painted with a bust-length portrait of maiden within a platinum and gilt surround entwined with foliage, set within a continuous view of either Venus attended by putti or Psyche being borne by Cupid reserved by a dense forest of poppies and daisies, edged by platinum bands and half flowerheads, the cover, neck and socle painted allover with chrysanthemums reserved on a gold ground, raised on a square base cast with four paw feet
