The rectangular top set with a central polychrome-painted velvet panel depicting a military trophy and swans suspending laurel swags, the frieze applied with anthemia, laurel, hippogriffs and griffins, and set to the front with three drawers, the sides each with a pull-out writing surface, supported by four winged nymphs and a trestle base, with associated glass top
