                                            A FAMILLE ROSE EGGSHELL TEABOWL AND SAUCER 
YONGZHENG (1723-35)
Finely and delicately enamelled with a leaf-shaped panel depicting a pheasant on rockwork on the saucer and irregularly-shaped panels on the teabowl, the serrated edges of the panels embellished with flowers, reserved on a pink cell-pattern ground below a narrow floral band at the rim reserved with three floral cartouches, this band repeated in the interior of the bowl around a peony at the centre
