A FINE FAMILLE ROSE EGGSHELL DEEP PLATE
YONGZHENG (1723-35)
Finely enamelled with a leaf-shaped panel at the centre embellished at the edges with gilt fruiting vine and depicting a lady seated beside a bamboo table and tall stand, her arm around the shoulders of a boy seated beside her, a second boy standing in front of them holding a large peach, all reserved on a pale blue Y-pattern ground, the well with a pink cell-pattern band, and the border with a continuous meander of gilt flowering foliage including camellia, peony, chrysanthemum, lily, poppy and hibiscus below a narrow pale green diaper-pattern band at the rim
