Each lady modelled holding at their opposite sides a candle-holder in the form of a large lotus bud with shaded and striated pink overlapping petals and a narrow tall foot, the figures wearing brightly enamelled and gilt long robes decorated with floral sprays and dragon roundels on their aprons over deep puce skirts, restoration to some extremities
