Comprising a kettle on stand, coffee pot, tea pot, cream jug and waste bowl, each of baluster form, on foliate and shell feet, the body chased with acanthus leaves on a matted ground, the covers with acanthus borders and bud finial, the kettle-on-stand, coffee pot and teapot with ivory insulators, the tray oblong, with gadrooned and shell border, the handles with leaf joins, the field flat-chased with scrolls, fishscale, cornucopiae and flowers, all engraved on reverse Gertrude Walsh, fully marked; the burner later and silver plate, the tray marked on reverse
The kettle-on-stand 13½ in. (34.4 cm.) high, the tray 30¾ in. (78.3 cm.) long; 157 oz. 10 dwt. (4912 gr.) gross weight, the tray 176 oz. 10 dwt. (5496 gr.) (6)
