Oblong, on four bracket feet, the stand with reeded border, set with two baluster-form pots, the pounce pot with pierced foliate cover, the inkpot with detachable central well and four pen holes, the associated bell of typical form, each engraved with a coat-of-arms, the inkpot liner engraved I*R, marked under base of stands, the bell and ink pot apparently unmarked
