A Frisian blue and white floral tile picture
1780-1790, ATTRIBUTED TO MAKKUM
Depicting an elaborate flowerfilled urnvase overflowing with tulips, carnations, peonies and other flowers, further with a perched bird and dragonflies, the urn above a rocaille pedestal flanked by a pair of parrots and enclosing an oblong cartouche with a scene depicting a village by a lake (one tile repaired and cracks)
