Cal. 72 nickel-finished lever movement, 17 jewels, the silvered matte dial with applied dagger numerals with luminous accents, luminous hands, outer five minute divisions, three subsidiary dials indicating constant seconds, 30 minutes and 12 hours registers, in tonneau-shaped water-resistant-type case with screw back and screw down crown, two round chronograph buttons in the band, stainless steel Rolex buckle, case, dial and movement signed

Lot Essay

The present watch is fitted with a so-called "transitional" dial without a tachometre scale. Another exceedingly rare particularity is the signature, Rolex Oyster Chronograph, printed on three lines instead of two as in the standard version.
