Accompanied by Patek Philippe Extract from the Archives confirming production of the present watch in 1956 and its subsequent sale on 10 July 1956.

Model 2508 is today amongst the most popular "time only" wristwatches by Patek Philippe. Its simple but yet masculin and sporty look make it a great collector's watch, especially since its case proportions are very much identical to the much celebrated screw back chronograph, reference 1463.

To the best of our knowledge, no more than 6 examples of reference 2508 in stainless less have appeared at auction to date. The present watch has never been offered publicly before.

Reference 2508 was launched in 1951 and in production until 1960. The model is illustrated in Patek Philippe Wristwatches by Martin Huber & Alan Banbery, second edition, p. 204, pl. 328.
