With gilt-finished verge movement, chain fusée, pierced and engraved balance cock, the white enamel dial with Roman numerals, outer Arabic five minute divisions, pierced and paste-set hands, in circular case with paste-set bezel, the back centred by a polychrome enamel painted and paste-set scene depicting a couple in a classical landscape, dial and movement signed

George Achard & Fils were active in Geneva at the end of 18th and beginning of 19th century. The firm specialized in fantasy watches, repeating watches and watches with automatons.
