Swiss. A fine 18K pink gold hunter case minute repeating keyless lever with carillon and three automatons
Unsigned, stamped AF & Co. possibly for Audemars Freres, No. 12'709, circa 1900
With gilt-finished fully jewelled lever movement, bimetallic compensation balance, carillon minute repeating on three polished steel hammers on three gongs, gold cuvette, the gilt dial with applied polychrome enamel scene depicting a group of six putti playing musical instruments, two striking a bell apparently in unison with the repeating while one holding a bell is climbing and slowly descending a column, all centred by the small white enamel hour dial with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial with Arabic numerals, in large case with repeating slide in the band, case stamped AF&Co. and numbered
