etching and drypoint, 1861, on Verdatre, a rare impression (Kennedy calls for only four), with margins, pale light- and mat staining, minor surface soiling in the margins, very soft rippling, a 2-in. thinned area at the upper left quadrant, an 1/8-in. loss at the extreme lower left corner, hinged to the support in places at the reverse of the upper margin edge (slightly showing through), otherwise in good condition
