A collection of 26 hand-written and one typescript letters, signed, from George Harrison's Mother, Louise, to a friend "Linda", various dates 1964 - 1966, all with original mailing envelope, including:
- a letter dated 26 May, 1964, telling Linda ...I love being a mother of a Beatles, it's very exciting, always something happening...1p., the letter enclosing a black and white fan club publicity postcard signed in blue ballpoint pen with the signatures of all four Beatles in Louise Harrison's hand;
- one letter dated 15 November, 1964, telling Linda The show in Liverpool was great. The Boys were very happy as they were playing to all their oldest friends + fans + relatives...they used to see them 3 or 4 times a week at "Cavern Club" now they see them maybe twice a year..., 1p.;
- one letter dated 11 October, 1966, telling Linda ...George said the tour was great. He and Patti are in India for 6 weeks. he is studying Sitar..., 1p.; accompanied by two U.S. tour programmes Beatles (U.S.A.) Ltd., 1966; a concert ticket stub KRLA Presents The Beatles, Dodger Stadium, Los Angeles, Sunday 28 August, 1966; and a concert ticket stub for the Beatles' appearance at the Hollywood Bowl, Monday, 30 August, 1965 (31)
