Lot Essay

The vendor was working for CFOX radio station at the time of John Lennon and Yoko Ono's Bed-In for Peace in Montreal in 1969. He was employed as an Intern with the station and was responsible for setting up the equipment for the show to be broadcast from the hotel room. To his surprise, Lennon and Ono were sitting up in bed clad in their white pyjamas when he entered the suite. Once he had finished setting up the equipment, he made the excuse that he would have to come back and test the equipment and in the interim, ran home to get his copy of the Beatles "White Album" for them to autograph.
