ACCESS TO HIS CHILDREN AFTER THE DIVORCE. 'Perhaps someday you will come to the realisation that you can let the boys come to me without hesitation. In the meantime I will see them in Switzerland. Perhaps the divorce agreement could say "outside the place of residence of Professor Einstein", rather than "in Switzerland" ...'.
The Einsteins' divorce was not finalised until 14 February 1919, although the separation had occurred in July 1914.
