Lot Essay

The superimposition of the mundane numerals 0-9 brings the viewer up short. The beauty of the curving lines and subtle shading re-presents the numbers and leads one to pause to consider their particular grace and form. Within the confined space of the printed surface and using conventional forms, we are presented with an elaborate caligraphic maze in which the numbers fuse and then return to their individual forms.
